Transport trips
A transport trip is a journey to and from the location where the
accessory equipment is used while loaded or unloaded.
Also observe the information given regarding transport trips in
chapter "General safety instructions", starting on page 20.
Make sure not to lose any parts of the load during transport.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from crushing, catching or impact may
arise if tractor and accessory equipment tip over as a result of
insufficient stability!
Adapt your driving style in such a way that you remain in full control of
tractor and mounted accessory equipment at all times:
The factors to be considered in this regard are the driver's
personal abilities and the conditions of the road, curves, and
traffic as well as visual and weather conditions, the driving
characteristics of the tractor and the impact by the installed
accessory equipment.
Never negotiate narrow curves at excess driving speeds.
Avoid abrupt steering maneuvers when driving on slopes along
the slope and the layer line (tip-over hazard!).
WARNING
Risks of personal injury may arise if hydraulic functions are
performed inadvertently during transport trips!
Prior to transport trips:
switch off the control panel,
switch off the oil circuit between tractor and accessory
equipment.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from entanglement, catching or impact
may arise if parts of the accessory equipment move out of the
transport position by accident when pivoted during transport!
Prior to transport trips:
lock pivoting parts of the accessory equipment when in the
transport position,
check if pivoting parts of the accessory equipment are locked in
place when in the transport position.
WARNING
Risks of personal injury from improper use of the tractor may
arise if the malfunction of components, insufficient stability and
insufficient ability of the tractor to steer and brake occur as a
result!
The maximum payload of the mounted accessory equipment and the
permissible axle and drawbar loads of the tractor must be observed.
