Retightening the wire cables
– cutting bar
The tension of the wire cables must be checked every 100 hours
of operation.
The wire cables are tightened correctly if their lateral deflection
is approx. 2-3 cm when the cutting bar is in its bottommost
position.
The tension of the wire cables must be as uniform as possible.
1. Lower the cutting bar to its bottommost
position.
2. Lower the accessory equipment to the
ground.
3. Switch off the tractor and secure it against
inadvertent start-up and rolling away.
4. The tightening nuts are located in the
center on the bottom of the frame.
Use the nuts (1) to adjust the tension in
such a way that the wire cables allow for a
lateral movement of 2-3 cm (2) (wrench
size 32). The tension of both wire cables
must be as uniform as possible.
Tighten = turn clockwise
Release = turn counter-clockwise
