Chapter 2

Ribbon Guide

The Ribbon Guide is positioned so the downstream side of the lobe is flush with
the mounting block, with the belt pulley positioned so the upper belt is
approximately 1/8” from the needle shaft. It is used to increase or decrease the
tie window.

Cover removed for clarity of component location.
