Troubleshooting

Error Code: E146

Belt Motor Fuse Blown, Motor Stalled, or Bad Encoder

These error codes are set when the controller is trying to move the belt motor, but the motor

either isn't moving or the controller cannot tell that the motor is moving..

With power off, check to see if

belt motor is jammed or is hard

to turn by hand.

Check for a blown

Belt Motor Fuse on

the AMP Board.

See Section 4.6.3.

Clear out jam, loosen

belt, or replace

bearings as needed.

Replace Belt Motor Fuse on AMP board and test for

proper operation. Watch belt motor during startup.

Note: Belts will not run until motors 1 – 3 complete

their homing sequence.

Cycle power, start tyer

and see if belt motor

moves at all before

error occurs.

Place voltmeter leads

across motor power

supply connector

(T1) on edge of AMP

board. Start tyer.

Check for DC

motor voltage on

AMP board. Note:

This may be

difficult to measure

if the DC power

contactor drops out

quickly.

Check motor supply circuit breaker

in the central cabinet.

Use Section 4.6.2 to troubleshoot motor connections.

Repair connection

in belt motor

wiring.

Replace

Belt

motor.

Fuse OK
