2.4.1.1 Control panel
The Control panel is located under the slim DVD-ROM drive on the left-side of the server
drawer front and provides user interface for system management via switches and status
LEDs. Figure 2-17 shows the control buttons and status LEDs on the Control panel.

# Item Description
A Power Switch Toggles server power.
When power Switch is pressed for more than four
seconds, this will force the power off (this action
invalidates the Wake on LAN).
B Reset Switch Resets the server.
C SDINT (System Diagnostic
Interrupt) Switch
Issues an interrupt towards the Operating System
to generate a dump, then resets the server.
D Identification Switch Toggles the Drawer Identification LED. There is
also a second Identification LED at the rear of the
system.
E Two USB Ports USB 1.1.
In case of over-current, the port is shut down. For
recovery, it is necessary to put off USB cable from
the USB port and then plug in.
