Error Details
E01
Problems in DRAM DATA LINE. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.
E02
Problems in DRAM ADDRESS LINE. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.
E03
Problems in RTC CHIP. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.
E04
Fail to extract Kernel. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.
E06
The firmware is corrupted. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair. Wait for 5
minutes to show "E04" and turn off, or turn the power switch off.
E07
Hard disks are not detected. If the hard disks are connected, Contact a Buffalo service
center for repair.
E10
UPS error. Operating from UPS battery. System will be safely shut down based on
the configuration conditions. After the LinkStation shuts down, ensure that power is
supplied to the UPS. If there is no problem, briefly press the Function Button on the
LinkStation (pressing and holding down the switch will not work).

Fan Error. The fan is spinning too slowly or has stopped. Move the unit to a cool place
with good airflow and no objects blocking the fan. If the LED remains lit, replace the
fan with part OP-FAN/LS, sold separately.

Hard disk IO error. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.

The hard disk is not connected or is malfunctioning. Contact a Buffalo service center
for repair.

Internal controller error. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.

The circuit board may be damaged. Disconnect and then reconnect power. Reboot
the LinkStation. If the error persists, Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.

Internal controller error. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.

Mount error. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.

The hard disk may be damaged. Contact a Buffalo service center for repair.
