7.17 Checking for leaks during operation
▶ With the burner running, use a non corrosive soap / leak detector to
test all fittings and connections between the main gas shutt-off valve
and burner.
The agent must be approved for gas leak testing.
7.18 Installing jacket panels
▶ Slide the bottom of the side panels into position first, then raise
slightly and slide in at the top.
▶ Secure the side panels at the front and back of the boiler by means of
the securing screws.
▶ Slot the bottom of the front panel into position first, then raise
slightly and slot in at the top.
▶ Secure the front cover at the top of the boiler using the securing
screw.
▶ Attach the clear pouch containing the technical documentation at a
visible position on the boiler side panel.

7.19 Inform owner/operator, hand over technical
documentation
Familiarize the owner/operator with the entire heating system and the
operating instructions for the boiler.
Shut down and restart the system together with the owner/operator.
With the aid of the operating instructions, explain to the customer what
to do in an emergency, e.g. a fire.
Hand over the technical documentation to the owner/operator and then
both sign the commissioning report (

Section 7.20, page 39).
CAUTION: Risk of system damage due to short-circuits!
▶ Prior to checking for leaks, cover areas at risk, e.g.
the internal water pressure sensor and the return
temperature sensor in the boiler return.
▶ Never spray leak detection agent onto cable entries,
plugs or electrical cables. Do not let it drip onto them
either.
▶ To avoid corrosion, carefully wipe off the leak
detector afterwards.
If the boiler side panels/front cover will not fit properly,
level the boiler (

Section 6.12.2, page 30).
