6 Maintenance
All regulations aimed at keeping the Rotavapor in good working
order must be observed.
They include cleaning the appliance at regular intervals and
examining it for signs of damage.
Before carrying out any maintenance work on the unit, make sure
that the steam and electricity supplies are disconnected. For re-
pairs to the bottom side of the bath, always make sure the bath
is well supported or dismantle the bath pan.
6.1 Changing the hydraulic oil
Change the hydraulic oil at intervals of approx. 3000 operating
hours.

The oil must be fully emptied to carry out any repairs to the
hydraulic unit.
