4 Putting into operation
The danger zone around the Rotavapor R-187 has a radius
of 10 m. Be careful if you have to do (repair) works in this
area, because of the risk of damaging glass components.
Damaged glass components can cause implosions, when
they are used under vacuum.
4.1 Place of installation
The dimensions of the rotary evaporator are with the
reflux glass assembly:

Point of use: A firm level surface, in a rarely frequented area
to minimize glass breakage.
Always make sure that the unit´s explosion-proof classification
complies with the room´s explosion-proof classification.
4.2 Unpacking
Open all boxes carefully to avoid any glass breakage.

Open carefully the wooden crate on the side wall marked
„open this side“, remove all boxes carefully from crate.
Then lift the Rotavapor out of the crate with a fork-lift truck.
After positioning the unit at its point of use, lock the wheels.
