Final Check and Inspection Mode

■

Before factory inspection

<Note>

- After starting the factory inspection, the memory is initialized when the power is

OFF and ON again.

- Regarding the printing at the factory inspection, the setting is as same as "Margin

Narrow Setting". (With cut mark)

3.2.1 Procedure for the Factory Inspection Mode

Inside RAM is cleared by pressing

[Menu]

[R]

[ON/OFF]

simultaneously at power-off

state.
After inside RAM is cleared, enter the factory inspection mode by pressing

[SPACE]

[BS]

[ON/OFF]

simultaneously at power-off state.

Before entering the mode, checksum is executed. If it is OK, LCD displays as shown in
<

Figure 3.2-1

NOTE:

Be sure to provide stabilizing power supply through AC jack for the factory
inspection.
Supply voltage is DC9.0 V±0.1 V [Insert resistant 1

Ω

±5 % (2 W and more)]

Stabilized power supply should provide 3.0 A and more.
