2.4. Programming from PC.
When supply voltage is connected the message
display shows:
TEXT DISPLAY
UCT-XXX VERS. Y.YY
xxx: Message display type.
yyy: Software version number.
After one second it enters the PC programming
mode, showing:
TRANSFER MODE
The message display is now ready for down- and
uploading of message files.
2.4.1 PC Editor UCP-201/202.
The PC editor UCP-201/202 lets you:

Create and edit messages on an IBM com-
patible PC.

Save messages on floppy disk or hard disk.
-
Transfer messages between the PC and
the message display.
-
Copy messages from one message display
to another.
-
Print out message files.
PC editor UCP-201/202 is supplied on floppy
disk (UCP-201/202: 5¼”/3½”) and could be
installed on hard disk or used via the floppy
drive.
The program is started from DOS with the
command UCTEDIT and the PC monitor
shows:

Programming the messages is carried out simi-
lar to programming from keyboard with op-
tional features, see separate manual for de-
tailed information.
