5. Warranty
*Art. 1 Warranty/ maintenance
1.
1. Defects in the product that are demon-
strably traceable to a material and/or produc-
tion fault and which occur within the following
warranty periods shall be recovered free of
charge by the seller in accordance with the
following conditions. The following warranty
terms apply:
■
Six years on the frame;
■
Two years on the front fork (with suspension);
■
Two years on the drive system;
■
Three years on the battery pack;
■
Two years on the steering control unit;
■
Two years on all the remainding parts,
except for parts that are subject to wear
and tear.
The aforementioned time limits shall commen-
ce on the day of delivery of the product.

2. The warranty claim does not apply
to shortcomings caused by:
■
Necessary periodic checkups/maintenance;
■
Repairs or replacements of parts due to
normal wear and tear;
■
External damage such as scratches and
dents;
■
Defects caused by climatic influences,
such as disintegration of lacquer, corrosion
and/or rust formation;
■
Defects caused by lack of maintaintenan-
ce in a timely, accurate and/or regular
manner, in accordance with this manual
(a demonstration of such maintenance
should be possible);
■
Defects caused by improper use (e.g.
heavy load);
■
Modifications or repairs carried out by
persons not authorized to do so;
■
A product used for business purposes;
■
Exceeding total weight (bike + rider + lug-
gage) of 140kg. For E-bikes a total weight of
150kg is applied. Front and/or Rear carriers
have their own prescribed maximum load,
the value is indicated on the part itself.
Under normal circumstances the following
applies: the maximum load of the rear
carrier: 25kg. Maximum load for the front
carrier: 10kg.

For a valid claim on the warranty, you must
report the defects to the seller as soon as pos-
sible, to a maximum of 14 days after discovery.
You must provide the seller with the original
proof of purchase. Furthermore, the seller must
be allowed to inspect the bike.

For recovered parts the remaining warranty
period applies (there will be no new warranty
period).
7.
If no valid appeal can be made on the
warranty, the costs of repair will be borne by
the buyer. Before proceeding to repair, the
seller will inform the buyer of the costs and
consent with the buyer prior to carrying out the
warranty.
