4.11.1 General Information

4.11.2 European Union Directives
A fundamental goal of the European Union is the creation of an Internal mar‐
ket within Europe and, linked to this, the reduction of trade barriers. In order
to achieve this goal, the European Treaties guarantee "four freedoms".
