Blender
The blender is suitable for
– blending and frothing liquids,
– cutting and chopping raw fruit, vegetables,
nuts and chocolate,
– puréeing soups, cooked fruit and vege-
tables,
– preparing mayonnaise and sauces.
The appliance is suitable for preparing
the following quantities:
Warning!
Never operate an empty blender.
Always work with a completely assembled
appliance. Screw the blender jug fully onto
the motor block.

Put blender jug down with the base
face up.

Place seal on the blade holder.
Ensure that the seal is positioned
correctly.

Grip blade holder by the handle and insert
into the blender jug.
Note shape of the parts (Fig.

-2a)!

Move handle (Fig.

-2b). This locks
the blade holder in the blender jug.

Turn blender jug over.

Attach blender jug to the drive on the
motor block. Arrow on the blender jug
points towards the dot on the motor block.

Attach blender blender jug by turning
it all the way clockwise.

Add ingredients.

Put lid on and press down all the way.
Insert measuring cup into feed tube.

Insert the mains plug.

Switch on the appliance: set the rotary
switch to on.

Turn rotary switch to the required
operating speed.

Press required quick-selection button
( or ).

Grip the edge of the lid while operating
the blender.
Do not grip the feed tube!

Add more ingredients

Set the rotary switch to 0/off.
Either

Remove lid.

Add more ingredients.
or

Take out measuring cup.

Add liquids and solid (fairly small)
ingredients through the feed tube
in the lid.

Switch on appliance again.

Risk of injury from sharp
blades/rotating drive!
Never place fingers in the attached
blender jug. Never operate the appliance
without a completely assembled blender
or attached lid! Do not remove or attach
blender jug until the appliance has been
switched off and the drive has come to
a standstill. When the appliance has been
switched off, the blade continues running
briefly.
Risk of scalding!
If processing hot liquids, steam escapes
through the funnel in the lid.
Pour maximum 0.5 litres of hot or frothing
liquid into the blender jug.
Important information
If the seal is damaged or not correctly
positioned, liquid may run out.
