20.5 Cleaning the main unit
WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
An ingress of moisture can cause an
electric shock.

Never immerse the appliance or
the power cord in water or clean in
the dishwasher.
▶
Liquids must not be spilled on the
appliance plug connection.
▶
Do not use steam- or high-pres-
sure cleaners to clean the appli-
ance.
▶
Do not use the appliance with
damp hands.
Inserting objects in the contact point
can result in an electric shock.
▶
Do not insert objects in the contact
point.
1.
Disconnect the main unit from the
power supply.
2.
Wipe down the main unit and the
contact point with a soft, damp
cloth.
3.
Clean the drain holes.
4.
Wipe down the infrared temperat-
ure sensor with a damp cloth and
then dry with a soft cloth.
The infrared temperature sensor
must be free of dirt, smears and
scratches.
5.
Dry the main unit.
20.6 Cleaning universal knife
WARNING
Risk of cutting!
The universal knife has sharp edges.
▶
Only grip the universal knife by the
tool handle.
▶
Take the universal knife out of the
pot and clean.
▶
Never touch the edges of the
blades with bare hands.
▶
When not in use, always store the
universal knife in the blade guard.
1.
Hold the universal knife by the tool
handle and remove the blade
guard by pulling down from the
handle.
2.
Clean the universal knife and
blade guard under running water
using a brush.
3.
Insert the universal knife in the
blade guard.
4.
Allow all parts to dry.
Tip:
You can clean the universal knife
in the blade guard in the dishwasher.
20.7 Cleaning the twin whisk
1.
Remove both beating whisks from
the twin whisk.
2.
Carefully clean all parts under run-
ning water using a brush.
3.
Dry all parts.
