Once you have selected a tool, the

Ste a ming
You can use the steaming accessor-
ies to steam food on up to 3 levels at
the same time.
Note:
The "Steaming" function is
available as an automatic pro-
gramme and with the Guided Cook-
ing recipes.

Tip:
You can use the steaming insert
as a sieve, e.g. for cooking pasta.
14.1 Using the steaming in-
sert
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam will escape from the appli-
ance.
▶ Do not lean over the appliance.
▶ Open the lid carefully.
▶
Only remove the steaming insert
with the spatula.

Open the lid completely.
2.
Add liquid to the pot at least up to
the marking.
The marking corresponds to
800 ml water.
3.
Place the steaming insert in the
pot.
4.
Add the food to the steaming in-
sert.
Do not fill the steaming insert bey-
ond the marking.
5.
Close and lock the lid.
Tip:
You can also use the steaming
attachment to steam food on up to 3
levels at the same time. → Page 112
14.2 Using the steamer at-
tachment
WARNING

▶ Open the steamer insert carefully.

Improper use may cause material
damage.
▶ Never use alcohol when steaming.
