Interchange the alignment lasers (exchange) without
changing the position of the adjustment beam and
the test boards.
The interchanged alignment lasers mark the test
boards.

Measure the distance between the 0-point on the
test board and the projected laser dot on the test
board.

Maximum permissible distance between the 0-point
on the test board and the laser dot on the test
board: 5.3 mm
Measure in case of impermissible observational error

Replace the alignment lasers.
6. Maintenance SCT 141x

The standard components must be inspected before
carrying out maintenance on the SCT 141x (see
sec. 4).
6.1
Entire unit
6.1.1
Checking the pitch angle
1.
Insert the precision measuring bar into the mounts.
2.
Determine the height midway between the top and
bottom end stops.
3.
Set the precision measuring bar to the midway
position.
4.
Compare the pitch angle spirit level on the precision
measuring bar to the pitch angle spirit level on the
DAS 800/1000 (VAS 6430).
The data on the spirit level on the DAS 800/1000
(VAS 6430) must not differ by more than 2 marks
from the data on the spirit level on the precision
measuring bar.
5.
If the data on the spirit level on the DAS 800/1000
(VAS 6430) differs by more than 2 marks from the
data on the spirit level on the precision measuring
bar, loosen the hex socket head cap screw (Abb. 49,
item 2).
6.
Adjust the profile (Abb. 49, item 1) until the data
from the pitch angle spirit levels is the same.

Tighten the hex socket head cap screw to 5 Nm.

Use sealing wax to mark the hex socket head cap
screw.
