Adjustment beam

1. 

Grease the threads of the wing screws.

2. 

Inspect the adjustment beam for visible flaws.

3. 

Inspect sealing paint for damage.

4. 

Check the bushings with the aid of the limit plug 
gauge 15 H7.

Inspect the reference board for visible flaws.

Inspect the sealing paint on the fastener for damage.

Move the adjustment beam to the transport position 
(Abb. 30, item 4.10).

4. 

Mount the reference board vertically on the adjust-
ment beam.

5. 

Using the positioning feet, level the calibration and 
adjustment device on the base plate with the aid of 
the spirit levels on the L-bracket (Abb. 23, item 2 and 
item 3).

6. 

Position the P-Assist S5 at a distance of 3000 mm. 
Align the P-Assist S5 with position A (scale mark 25) 
on the reference board.

 

The laser beam is reflected.

7. 

Position the test board at the height of the P-Assists 
S5, but offset.

 

The reflected laser beam marks the test board.

8. 

Using the reflected laser beam, align the test board 
with the 0-point and fasten in place.
