Notes on maintenance
Regular and properly carried out maintenance, together with keeping the
work area and machine clean is essential for safety reasons.
Observe chapter “Safety measures”!
Observe the manufacurer instructions and the instruction manuals of
the individual manufacturers when using bought-in parts and
sub-supplied equipment!
Preparations

Only appoint skilled personnel
D
Switch the machine off in accordance with this operating manual and
secure it against accidental re-starting

Cordon off the maintenance area.

Inform operating personnel and appoint a supervisior
D
Make available an appropriately well equipped workshop.
D
Heed the fire alarm and fire-fighting possibilities and make well known
the locations and use of fire extinguishers.

Make the technical docouments available (wiring diagrams, operating
manual)
Measures before restart

Check safety devices
D
Check operation process
Protect the environment!
Dispose of no longer useable problem substances such as greases and
batteries with an appropriate agency for problem waste.
Before dismantling for re-use or scrapping, oils and other ground water
endangering substances must be completely removed.
Lubrication
Heed manufacturer information (Chapter 8) for lubrication.
Observe environmental regulations!
All lubricants must have a guaranteed high ageing stability.
Only refill lubricants of the same brand and quality.
Avoid mixing of different lubricants.
