For models equipped with an ON/OFF selector switch: Move the switch to the ON position in order to turn on the sander.

To turn off the sander move the switch to the OFF position

On/Off switch Lock button (continuous operation)*

Press the on/off trigger switch then the lock-on button, release the on/off trigger switch first and then the lock-on button. Your

switch is now locked on for continuous use. To turn off your sander press and release the on/off switch.

Variable speed selector*

Use the selector  to increase or decrease the speed according to the material and sanding sheet specification to be used (also

possible during no load operation). Avoid prolonged use at very low speed as this may damage your sander’s motor.

Main operation

Disposal

The power tool, accessories and packaging should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.

Only for EC countries:

Do not dispose of power tools into household waste!

According  the  European  Guideline  2002/96/EC  for  Waste  Electrical  and  Electronic  Equipment  and  its  implementation  into

national right, power tools that are no longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally correct

manner.

Replacing the rectangular sanding pad assembly (2 in 1 models with triangular and rectangular pads)*

Unscrew the lock knob (for some models; press the button of the sanding pad) to release the triangulated sanding pad.

Hook the two hooks of the rectangular sand tray assembly to the support wire of the base plate.

The holes of the self-adhesive sandpaper must be aligned with corresponding holes of the rectangular sanding pad and com-

pacted by hand.

Replacing the sanding pad

To replace the sanding pad, unscrew and remove the bolts that hold the sanding pad on the sander.

Remove the sanding pad and attach the new pad. Check the sanding pad by pulling it slightly to ensure that it has been placed

correctly. Be sure to attach the pad in the right direction.

Using the sander

The workpiece to be sanded must be secured. If it is small or it may move during sanding, it must be held in a vice or suitably

clamped.

Be sure to hold the sander firmly whilst it is on and apply it gently to the work, it may “kick” on first contact. Hold the sander

so that it is flat on the work and move slowly, preferably with a smooth, circular motion. Regularly check the condition of the

sanding paper and replace when worn for best results.

* The manufacturer reserves the right to make minor changes to product design and technical specifications without prior notice unless these changes

significantly affect the performance and safety of the products. The parts described / illustrated in the pages of the manual that you hold in your hands may

also concern other models of the manufacturer’s product line with similar features and may not be included in the product you just acquired.

* Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial, trade or industrial applications. Our warranty will be voided if the sander is

used in commercial, trade or industrial businesses or for equivalent purposes.

* To ensure the safety and reliability of the product and the warranty validity, all repair, inspection, repair or replacement work, including maintenance and

special adjustments, must only be carried out by technicians of the authorized service department of the manufacturer.

The dust extraction hood will only work if the sandpaper has holes that line up with the dust collection holes of the sanding

pad. If your sander is equipped with a dust extraction port, connect a dust collection vacuum system or an appropriate vacuum

cleaner.
