Cleaning and Preventive Maintenance
FLUSHING THE BOILER - BCX models only
NOTE: The boiler should be flushed daily.
Standard Control
The boiler will perform an automatic flush daily.
However, in order fro this to occur the mode switch
must be in the OFF or HOT AIR position. The main
curcuit breaker power must be on.
1. To initiate a flush, turn the mode switch to
COOL DOWN and push in the TIMER knob for
3 seconds. The display reads FLUSHING
once activated.
2. To cancel a manually initialized FLUSH, press
and hold the Steam On Demand kob for 3 secĆ
onds.

Control
The boiler will be flushed according to the schedĆ
ule determined in the oven setup menu described
in the Operation section.
Use the following instruction if you wish to manualĆ
ly flush the boiler.
NOTE: If you manually flush the boiler you will reĆ
set the clock" on the autoĆflush schedule.
1. Press the MAINTENANCE KEY. If the control is
password protected, the display reads
ENTER

. Use the alpha/numeric keypad to enĆ
ter the manager passcode 3124, then press
the center of the dial to enter the program
mode.
2. Turn the dial to highlight
FLUSH
. Press the
center of the dial to select the product.
NOTE: The display will also list the time interĆ
vals for the automatic flush. This is for
infomation only.
3. Select YES and press the center of the dial.
4. The boiler flushes, this should take approxiĆ
mately 1 minutes 20 seconds.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
The best preventive maintenance measures are
āthe āāāproper āāinitial āāinstallation āāof āāthe equipment and
a program for cleaning the appliance routinely.
The Oven/Steamer requires no lubrication. ConĆ
tact the factory, the factory representative or a loĆ
cal Blodgett Combi service company to perform
maintenance and repairs should they be required.
