FUEL CONVERSION

CONVERSION KIT CONTENTS

The conversion kit contains the following parts:
•  S.Z0765 (LPG)> #635.OR1.5 (1.5 mm oriﬁ ce), 635.977.168 (PF2 LP pilot oriﬁ ce), and LPG regulator.
•  S.Z0766 (NG)> #635.OR39 (#39 oriﬁ ce), 635.977.166 (PF2 LP pilot oriﬁ ce) and NG regulator.
•  Conversion Kit labels.

To convert from NG to LPG or reverse:

1. Turn oﬀ the appliance and allow it to cool down completely
2. Remove burner (see

“BURNER REMOVAL”

on previous page)

3.  Replace main oriﬁ ces
4.  Replace regulator
5.  Convert pilot fuel (see next page).

All valves have been pre-set and certiﬁ ed for installation at elevations from 0 – 4500 feet (1 – 1372m) above
sea level.

HIGH ELEVATIONS

When installing this unit at higher elevations, it is necessary to decrease the input rating by replacing the
existing burner oriﬁ ce with a smaller size for installations over 4500 feet (1370 m). The appliances input should
be reduced 4% for each additional 1000 feet (305 m) above sea level. For the USA, de-rate the unit from sea
level according to the gas installation code.

THIS CONVERSION KIT SHALL BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED SERVICE AGENCY IN

ACCORDANCE WITH THE MANUFACTURER’S INSTRUCTIONS AND ALL APPLICABLE CODES AND

REQUIREMENTS OF THE AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION. IF THE INFORMATION IN THESE

INSTRUCTIONS IS NOT FOLLOWED EXACTLY, A FIRE, EXPLOSION OR PRODUCTION OF CARBON

MONOXIDE MAY RESULT CAUSING PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY OR LOSS OF

LIFE. THE QUALIFIED SERVICE AGENCY IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER INSTALLATION OF
