Installation
instructions

These installation instructions apply
to most types of vehicles. Your vehi-
cle may differ depending upon the
model. In this case and for any other
questions, your Blaupunkt author-
ised dealer or our telephone hotline
will gladly provide assistance.

We assume no liability for damages
resulting from installation or con-
nection errors or consequential
damages.

Note:

These installation instructions
assume that the negative pole of
the battery is connected to the
body of the vehicle.

For your safety

General

You may only install the device
yourself if you are experienced
in installing car sound systems
and navigation systems and are
very familiar with the electrical
system of the vehicle.

Operate the device only with a
battery voltage between 10.5
and 14.4 V!

Before the installation

Allow the device to become accli-
matised for several hours prior to
installation to prevent the forma-
tion of condensation inside the
housing!

Read and observe the operating
instructions for your vehicle as
well as the operating instructions
for devices to be connected to
this device (e.g. antennas, loud-
speakers, etc.)!

During the installation

Disconnect the negative pole of
the battery! Observe the safety
notes of the vehicle manufac-
turer.

Never connect vehicle connec-
tors directly with the device!
Always use adapter cables!

Use positive and negative cables
with a minimum cross section of
1.5 mm
