Lean forward when driving uphill; when going downhill,
keep you back to the backrest while holding the brake.
For +1% gradients, seeking the assistance of a helper is
recommended.

When going uphill carryng heavy bags or backpacks may
be dangerous. Danger of tipping.
For your own safety, seek the assitance of two people
to climb and go down a steep staircase.

Before going off a sidewalk on your own, please check its
height. If it is too high, tipping over may occur. Danger of
tipping over in case of steep gradient.

While going down the stairs, the wheelchair should
be tilted on the large rear wheels and carried step by
step. While climbing the stairs, the helper should turn
his or her back to the staircase, and pull the wheel-
chair one step at a time, keeping it tilted on the rear
wheels.
Caution:
If
the wheelchair is lifted from the fl oor, the person
sitting on it might loose his or her balance and fall to
the ground.
