mportant: in order to set the optimum for your wheel-
chair, both its height and depth may be adjusted.
Height adjustment:
the rear wheel mounting plate may be adjusted at diffe-
rent heights:
•
remove the rear wheel (see page 13) “Remove th rear
wheels“
•
remove the screws
•
move the plate up or down (2 cm pitch)
•
insert the screws and tighteen the nuts
Dept adjustment:
the plate allows to fi x the (h) clamp in different positions:
•
remove the rear wheel (see page 13) “Remove th rear
wheels“
•
remove the axle and its nut and washer
•
once the right position is found, insert the screws in
their respective pitches and srews all the parts back
to the initial position.
Adjusting the rear wheel
Caution:
The rear wheel adjustment may require a variation of the
seat tilt; in this case it is absolutely necessary to adjust
the front wheel support (see page 12) “Adjusting the front
wheels“.
Moving the seat forward will set the wheelchair to an “ac-
tive“ position, thus resulting in the wheelchair rearing up
more easily.
Moving the seat backward, sets the wheelchair to a more
“cautions” position.
