6-Periodical checks and load testing:
-
Check the floor anchoring.
-Check the operation of the safety devices (limit switches and audible warnings)
-Before using the lift, load testing must be carried out
by an authorised body and according to the regulations in force.
-Periodical checks
also have to be done by the user, according to the schedule and recommendations required by the
regulations in force.
VIII) MAINTENANCE
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
DANGER
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning, cut off the power supply to the machine. Electrical work
must only be done by highly specialised professional technicians.
DANGER
Before carrying out any maintenance or cleaning, wedge the lift by placing safety stands under the lift
chassis, and lock the lift scissors mechanically
DANGER
Do not make any modifications which could affect safety without requesting written authorisation from
BLACKHAWK S.A.
CAUTION
If any part of the lift is faulty or damaged, do not repair it yourself. This work must be done by a technician
authorised by BLACKHAWK S.A.
MISCELLANEOUS CHECKS
Thoroughly clean the lift and the pits every week
Check the oil level regularly and change the oil at least once every 5 years
Check the condition of the hydraulic hose and electric cables regularly
Check the locking pins and corresponding washers regularly.
Check the functioning of the limit switches regularly.
