Storage System
The 4050B provides an internal non-volatile memory (C Disk) and a USB Host interface for
external memory.
Local (C:)
Users can store instrument states and arbitrary waveform files to C Disk.
USB Device (0:)
There is a USB Host interface located on the left side of the front panel which permits users to
store/recall waveforms or update the firmware version by U-Disk. When the generator detects
a USB storage device, the screen will show the drive letter “USB Device (0:)” and display a
prompt message “USB device connected.”, as shown in Error! Reference source not found..
After removing the U-Disk, the screen will display a prompt message “USB device removed.”
And “USB Device (0:)” in the storage menu will disappear.

Arbitrary waveform file.
Browse
View the current directory.
Save
Save the waveform to the specified path.
Recall
Recall the waveform or setting information in the specific position of
the memory.
Delete
Delete the selected file.
Copy
Copy the selected file.
Paste
Paste the selected file.
Cancel
Exit the Store/Recall interface.
