Load
To remove the load from the cart:
1. Discon n ect a ll RF ca bles fr om t h e RF con n ect or s on t h e loa d.
2. On blower -equ ipped loa ds, u n plu g t h e blower a ssem bly.
3. Repla ce t h e ven t plu gs wit h t h e sh ippin g plu gs.
4. Rem ove t h e m ou n t in g bolt s con n ecting the load to the Cal Cart.
5. Rem ove t h e loa d.
Casters
To replace the casters:
1. Rem ove t h e loa d (See Ch a pt er 6 "Loa d", pa ge 49).
2. F lip t h e ca r t over .
3. U n scr ew t h e defect ive ca st er .
4. Scr ew t h e n ew ca st er in t o pla ce a n d r epla ce t h e loa d.
Handle
To replace the handle:
1. U n scr ew a n d r em ove t h e old h a n dle.

Storage and Shipment (Cal Cart only)
Cover the unit before storing to keep out dust and dirt. It is not necessary to
install the shipping plug. Store in a dry, dust-free environment where the
ambient temperature will remain between
Before shipping the Bird Cal Cart, take the following precautions:
Remove the vent plugs and replace them with the shipping plugs. Wrap
the vent plugs with padding and tape them to the side of the load for
protection.
Note:
With the shipping plugs installed, it is not necessary to empty
out the coolant.
Repack in the original carton or contact Bird for a transit case.
WARNING
Heavy load. Do not attempt to lift unaided.
