Interface Capabilities

Indicators
splay shows indicators describing the
status of the Bird 4421 when used with the IEEE interface. These are:
REMOTE:
When REMOTE is displayed, the power meter is being controlled
through the interface. Measurements, units of measure, and certain other
parameters may be changed from a remote location.
LISTEN:
When LISTEN is displayed, the power meter is receiving data.
TALK:
When TALK is displayed, the power meter is transmitting data. This
is always shown when the unit
LOCAL LOCKOUT:
When LOCAL LOCKOUT is displayed, the push but-
tons are disabled and the power mete ing remotely con-
trolled.
