FREQUENTLY QUESTIONS
A message with a on the display of my CRU Biow.
The equipment has a sensor or filter pack change indicator, which counts the hours of use of the
CRU Biow and it will be automatically activated when it reaches this parameter, advising you to
clean or change the filter pack. It is a very simple process, so you can dismantle it yourself, remove
the black pre-filter fixed with velcro, wash it with water, let it dry and replace it in the same position.
For more information see section 5 of the manual. You must clean the HEPA filter with your vacuum.
If you observe that the HEPA filter is very dirty or deteriorated, you should change the filter pack.
It is recommended to change the filter pack once a year, depending on the type of use of the CRU
Biow. Call 985 87 93 45 and we will send it to you. If the HEPA filter is in a good condition, replace
the black pre-filter and reset the equipment by pressing the timer button for 3 seconds. The filter
pack indicator will be deactivated and will notify you again after a few months. If you observe
abnormal operation of the equipment, it may be because the filter pack is saturated. Check it and
replace it, even if the filter pack change light has not illuminated.
I feel dryness or a stuffy nose when Biow is working.
Check if you have the ionization (ION) function activated, since some particularly sensitive people
may experience certain unpleasant sensations, such as slight nasal obstruction or a scratchy throat.
If this happens, temporarily switch off the ionization function and continue to use your CRU Biow as
normal. You can activate the ionization function for limited periods of time.
I want my equipment to stop emitting sound when I touch the buttons on the remote control.
The device can be muted. Simply press the Mode button for 3 seconds. Read the section “3.4.

My equipment is noisy in SILENT mode
Check that the heat mode is not activated, since for safety reasons, the air flow is increased in this
function by automatically changing to V White .
My equipment turns on and off automatically.
Check if you have done WIFI programming that can expalin this effect. If not, reset the equipment
and if the problem remains, contact with the Technical Service.
You hear a vibration.
The hinges of the upper slat of the integral treatment unit are adjustable, this may mean that when
they are loosened a vibration starts to be heard coming from the unit. This is solved by tightening
screws to the hinges. They should not be tightened to the maximum, but only so that the slat can
move with the desired resistance. It may also be that the equipment is placed on plasterboard or
some hollow surfaces. Make sure that the equipment is well seated on its wall bracket. This has a
system of silent blocks that prevent vibrations, but it must be perfectly fitted and the necessary wall
anchors must have been used for this material. Also check that the filter pack clamping knobs are
correctly tightened and that there is no element on the Biow that is unsteadily resting on it.
