CRU does not work.
Check that power is supplied to the equipment, that the general power button, located on the
bottom right, is in the ON position and that the remote control has the battery inserted correctly.
The screen displays 999.
The laser particle sensor is saturated. To clean it, use your vacuum, place the nozzle of the vacuum
in the sensor holes and vacuum carefully.
The remote control does not work.
Turn off and on the equipment with the bottom right-side button. Biow incorporates an automatic
reset system to protect against electrical system problems If it still does not work, check the battery
condition of the remote control.
The equipment marks very low values.
Congratulations, that means that the PM (particulate matter) level is good, however, these values
fluctuate greatly depending on the time of year, weather conditions, and the use of your home.
Even if it displays low PM values, Biow will remove nanoparticles, gases, VOC (volatile organic
compounds), formaldehyde, viruses, bacteria, etc. DO NOT TURN OFF BIOW. PM is only a partial
reference.
I activate the heat mode and the CRU Biow emits cool air.
Correctly select the desired temperature or setpoint temperature, as it is possible that it is set for
a lower temperature than the one in the room. Press the + button and you will see the thermostat
temperature on the screen. The protection of the heat-generating resistors may be activated. This
can happen if the air outlet of the equipment is covered. Make sure that the front blade of the
equipment is raised. The equipment is automatically reset after a few minutes. If this problem
persists, you may need to change the filter pack.
How to optimize the heating function to regulate the room temperature.
Direct the blade or deflector to guide the hot air and make it go towards the floor instead of
upwards since, due to its lower density, it will rise regulating the temperature of the room. The CRU
Biow will optimize its protection function against microorganisms thanks to thermal treatment.
No fresh air.
Consider the ambient temperature. Biow has a refresh system that improves air recirculation by
destratification (creation of a continuous air flow oriented in the middle zone of the room), optimizing
the thermal sensation in summer for rooms up to26-27 degrees Celsius. If these temperatures are
exceeded, higher speeds should be used and combined with air-conditioning. For extreme heat you
will need to combine the equipment with an air-conditioning system for optimal functionality. The
filter pack should also be checked, as it may need to be cleaned or replaced.
The top of the equipment is warm.
It may be hot if you have a radiator under it, or you use it for a long time in heat mode (especially
the front part will heat up), this is normal.
