7. Do not use this heater with a programmer,
timer or any other device that switches the
heater on automatically, since a fire risk exists if
the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.
8. Only touch the heater with dry hands.
9. DO NOT position where it can be touched by
children, especially the very young.
10. DO NOT use this heater outdoors.
11. Allow a safe area around the heater away from
furniture or other objects; at least 50 cm from
the top and sides and 200 cm at the front.
12. Do not use this heater when it is lying on its

Installation of a plug
Applicable to U.K. and Ireland
The wires in the mains lead are coloured as such:
BROWN

LIVE
BLUE

NEUTRAL
Please note that the colour of these mains wires
may not correspond with the colour markings
that identify the terminals in your plug. Please
proceed as follows:
The BROWN coloured wire must be connected
to the terminal, which is marked with the letter
"L" or is coloured RED.
The BLUE coloured wire must be connected to
the terminal, which is marked with the letter "N"
or is coloured BLACK.
DO NOT CONNECT either of these wires to the
earth terminal in the plug. The earth terminal
plug is marked with the letter "E", or with the
earth symbol or coloured GREEN and
YELLOW.
NOTE:
If the terminals in the plug are not
marked or if you are unsure or in doubt about
the installation of the plug please contact a
qualified electrician. If a 13A 3-pin plug is fitted,
it must be an ASTA approved plug, conforming
to BS1363 standard. Replacement 13A fuses
must be BSI or ASTA BS1362 approved.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG (SIEHE ABB. 1, 2)
Wenn Sie das Gerät mit Sockelstange einsetzen
möchten, beginnen Sie mit Schritt 1.
Schritt 1 – Drehen Sie das Heizlüftergehäuse
(A)um und legen Sie es auf einen
festen, ebenen Untergrund.
Schritt 2 – Schrauben Sie die Sicherungsmutter
(E) ab, indem Sie sie gegen den
Uhrzeigersinn drehen. Schieben Sie
die Sicherungsmutter (E) und den
Standfuß (D) ans Ende des
Stromkabels.
Schritt 3 – Klappen Sie die Sockelstange (C) auf
und stecken Sie die beiden Hälften
(C) um das Stromkabel herum wieder
zusammen. Setzen Sie die beiden
Befestigungsschrauben ein. (siehe
Abbildung 1).
Schritt 4 – Schrauben Sie die Sockelstange (C)
im Uhrzeigersinn auf das
Gewindestück (B) auf der Unterseite
des Heizlüftergehäuses (A), bis Sie
einen Widerstand spüren. (siehe
Abbildung 2).
Schritt 5 – Schieben Sie den Standfuß (D) und die
Sicherungsmutter (E) am Stromkabel
hinauf, wobei die glatte Seite nach
oben zeigen sollte. Achten Sie darauf,
den Punkt auf der Rückseite des
Standfußes auf den Punkt an der
Sockelstange auszurichten, bevor Sie
die Sicherungsmutter (E) anziehen
(siehe Abbildung 2).
Schritt 6 – Salten Sie den Standfuß (D) gerade
und ziehen Sie die Sicherungsmutter
(E) durch Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn an.
Schritt 7 – Führen Sie das Stromkabel durch die
Auskerbung auf der Rückseite des
Standfußes.
Schritt 8 – Drehen Sie den Heizlüfter vorsichtig
um und stellen Sie ihn auf einen
festen, ebenen Untergrund.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Frostwächter
Diese spezielle Funktion wird automatisch
aktiviert, wenn der Modus (AF) ausgewählt ist. In
diesem Modus bleibt das Gerät ausgeschaltet,
bis die Raumtemperatur sich dem Gefrierpunkt
nähert. Dann wird das Heizgerät automatisch
auf höchster Heizleistung (HI) eingeschaltet. Das
Gerät schaltet sich immer wieder ein und aus,
da es die Temperatur zwischen 5 °C und 8 °C
hält.
Einstellen des Lüfters
Drücken Sie einmal die Modustaste (
) um nur
den Lüfter (FA) einzuschalten.
Einstellung des digitalen Thermostats:
Ihr Heizgerät ist mit einem digitalen Thermostat
ausgestattet, mit dem Sie Ihren Komfortbereich
präzise einstellen können.
1.
Drücken Sie die Modus-Taste (
) einmal,
um den manuellen Modus und die höchste
Heizleistung (HI) einzustellen. Der Heizlüfter
läuft dann kontinuierlich auf höchster Stufe.
2.
Drücken Sie die Modus-Taste nochmals, um
den manuellen Modus und die niedrigste
Stufe (LO) einzustellen. Der Heizlüfter läuft
dann kontinuierlich auf niedrigster Stufe.
3.
Drücken Sie die Modus-Taste ein drittes Mal,
um den Auto-Modus und die höchste Stufe
einzustellen (AH), oder drücken Sie sie ein
weiteres Mal, um den Auto-Modus und die
niedrigste Stufe (AL) einzustellen. In beiden
Modi können Sie dann mithilfe der (+)- und (-)-
Tasten die gewünschte Temperatur einstellen.
4.
Nach Einstellung der gewünschten Temperatur
wird in der Anzeige wieder die aktuelle
Raumtemperatur angezeigt. Diese (und
dementsprechend die angezeigte Temperatur)
erhöht sich dann allmählich, bis die
voreingestellte Temperatur erreicht ist.
5.
Wenn das Gerät sich im Modus mit digitalem
Thermostat nicht einschaltet, prüfen Sie,
ob die eingestellte Temperatur höher als
die aktuelle Raumtemperatur ist.
HINWEIS:
Es ist normal, dass sich das
Heizgerät immer wieder ein- und ausschaltet,
da es die voreingestellte Temperatur
beibehält. Wenn Sie das wiederholte Ein-
/Ausschalten vermeiden möchten, müssen
Sie die Thermostateinstellung erhöhen.
Wenn die voreingestellte Temperatur erreicht
ist, läuft der Ventilator 30 Sekunden lang
ohne Heizleistung weiter. Durch diesen
