kept to a mi ni mum, both for the PABX sys tem and for your PCs.

In ter net ac cess for all of the PCs con nec ted to the PABX sys tem is pro vi ded via one sing le con nec ti on (SUA - sing le

user ac count); only one set of ac cess data is re qui red from your In ter net ser vi ce pro vi ders (ISP). You can con fi gu re

more than one ISP.

System Requirements for Windows
Sys tem re qui re ments:

IBM or 100% com pa ti ble PC.

Pen ti um or com pa ra ble pro ces sor, min. 233 MHz clock rate and MMX-tech no lo gy.

One of the fol lo wing ope ra ting sys tems has to be in stal led: Wind ows, 2000, ME, XP or Wind ows
Vis ta (32 bit).

RAM for Wind ows: ME min. 64 MB, 2000, Wind ows XP (32 bit), min. 128 MB, Wind ows Vis ta
(32 bit) min. 512 MB.

You also need a VGA gra phics adap ter, ap prox. 65000 co lors, a re so lu ti on of at least 800x600 pi -
xels.

The PC has to have a CD ROM dri ve.

The re qui red free disk spa ce for in stal la ti on is 40 MB.

The PC should have at least one free USB port.

A net work card must be in stal led to per form con fi gu ra ti on via Ether net.

To con fi gu re your sys tem via the in ter nal ISDN con nec ti on, you must have an ope ra tio nal ISDN
PC card in stal led in your PC.

In ter net Ex plo rer Ver si on 6.00 or hig her must be in stal led to use the »WEB- LCR«.

Initial Commissioning and Minimum Configuration

You can con nect PC to the PABX sys tem eit her via Ether net or USB.

Once you have lin ked your PC to the PABX sys tem you must se lect an ISP and, whe re re qui red, en ter you ac cess data.

And be fo re you know it you’re sur fing the In ter net.

Con nec ting the DSL mo dem to the Ether net (10Ba seT) port

If you have a DSL con nec ti on you must con nect your DSL mo dem to the WAN/xDSL port of the PABX sys tem. Use a

net work ca ble for this (CAT. 5, 1:1 with RJ-45 con nec tors at both ends). This ca ble may be in clu ded in the stan dard

de li very sco pe for your DSL mo dem.

Note
Plea se be sure to use a DSL-mo dem with an Ether net (10Ba seT) port.

Con nec ting a pcs via USB

At pre sent, only Mi cro soft Wind ows ope ra ting sys tems are sup por ted for con nec ti on of a PC to the PABX sys tem via

the USB port.
