Using a Voi ce box at an as sig ned pho ne
No ti fi ca ti on of new mes sa ge in Voi ce box
When new mes sa ges are pre sent on the Voi ce box:
When the in ter nal par ty he ars the spe ci al dial tone for teams ins te ad of the in ter nal dial tone, you can
spe ci fy in the con fi gu ra tor, whet her this tone is to be he ard by just one team mem ber or by the en ti re
team.
On ana log de vi ces, the sub scri ber he ars a short sig nal tone, when a new mes sa ge has been re cei ved.
When the call wai ting tone has been en ab led on sys tem te le pho nes the mes sa ge will be sig na led using
this tone.
The »MWI« LED - if fit ted - lights up. This se tup is car ried out in the con fi gu ra ti on.
A spe ci al text or sym bol will be shown on the dis play of the pho ne ( e.g. *39#).
To re cei ve the se to nes and dis plays »Voi ce box MWI« must have been set up for that par ti cu lar ex ten si on.
The team mem ber that is no ti fied when the re is a new mes sa ge in the Voi ce box must be de fi ned in the Voi ce box con -
fi gu ra ti on for a team Voi ce box.
Lis te ning to mes sa ges / rec or ding calls
The ol dest mes sa ge is al ways play ed back first. All of the mes sa ges are then play ed back from ol dest to ne west. If no
ne wer mes sa ges are pre sent you will hear the ne ga ti ve ac knowled ge ment sig nal. A new mes sa ge counts as ha ving
been play ed back even if you only lis te ned to part of the mes sa ge.
Pro ce du re for en te ring the Voi ce box menu
You only need to en ter the fol lo wing pro ce du re

one time; af ter that you can uti li ze all the pro ce du res
des cri bed in the fol lo wing one af ter the ot her. Af ter en te ring this pro ce du re wait around 3 se conds be fo re en te -
ring any ot her codes. You can al ways press the num ber key (#) and en ter the fol lo wing code to re turn to the be -
gin ning of the menu.

Se lect the pro ce du re for the Voi ce box.

En ter the PIN for the Voi ce box (de fault set ting 0000).
