If mul tip le con nec ti on keys are avai la ble, the con nec ti on key is used to se lect bet ween mul tip le
wai ting calls. Note that only one ISDN sys tem te le pho ne is ope ra ted on the S/U con nec ti on, only a
sing le call wai ting sig nal is set up. This is the only way that a se cond call wai ting can take prio ri ty
over an exi sting call (both callers require a B-channel).

If a call is sig nal led, anot her con nec ti on can be estab lis hed using anot her con nec ti on key when
the re cei ver is replaced.

Bro ke ring can be car ried out using the con nec ti on keys.

The as signment gi ven to a con nec ti on or a call is re tai ned un til the end, un less with soft keys
»Con nec ti on 1...«.

A con nec ti on can be set up using the con nec ti on key and then pres sing a line key.

You can also press the con nec ti on key du ring a call to set up anot her con nec ti on.

Pres sing the dis con nect key to dis con nect the exi sting con nec ti on and the con nec ti on with the

LED functions
The LED on the key in di ca tes the re spec ti ve sta tus of the con nec ti on:
LED off: No con nec ti on.
LED on: Exi sting con nec ti on.
LED flas hes: Con nec ti on on hold.
LED fli ckers: Call sta tus.
Open hold for enquiry (Open.Hold)
The cal led par ty is put on hold for en qui ry and di als a code. The sys tem te le pho ne is now free for ot her ope ra tions, e.g.
an an noun ce ment. Anot her par ty can ac cept the call, if he lifts the re cei ver and di als the re le vant code of the held call.
The codes as sig ned by the PABX can al so be en te red in the functi on keys of one or mo re sys tem te le pho nes. If a call is
set to open hold for en qui ry by pres sing the functi on key, this is in di ca ted by flas hing LEDs on the functi on keys for
the sys tem te le pho nes set up for this. The call is trans fer red by pres sing the cor re spon ding functi on key. This per for -
man ce feature is only possible if only one call is on hold.
LED functions

LED off: No con nec ti on.
LED flas hes: Held call in open hold for en qui ry.
Ho tel room
The ho tel room key can on ly be used on sys tem te le pho nes that are set up as re cep ti on te le pho nes. A key can be set up
for each ho tel room for which check-in, check-out, wa ke-up call and call functions can be set up by pres sing the re le -
vant key.

The se cond lay er of the key functi on »Ho tel room« is as sig ned per ma nent ly as a line key and can not
be set up for any ot her functions.
