Automatic call acceptance
Your sys tem te le pho ne can ac cept calls au to ma ti cal ly wit hout you ha ving to lift the re cei ver or press the loud spea ker
key. The time af ter which calls are ac cep ted au to ma ti cal ly is set up in the con fi gu ra ti on of the sys tem te le pho ne. Au -
to ma tic call ac cep tan ce is swit ched on or off using the function key assigned.
LED functions
The LED on the key in di ca tes the re spec ti ve sta tus:
LED off: Swit ched off.
LED on: Swit ched on.
Line AB
This performance feature is not currently supported by elmeg hybird!
This key is a spe ci al li ne key to which the in ter nal num ber of an ans we ring ma chi ne is as sig ned. An MFC se quen ce
can al so be as sig ned to this key.
Af ter pres sing the key, the num ber of the ans we ring ma chi ne is di al led and then the sa ved MFC se quen ce is trans mit -
ted. The MFC se quen ce al lows you to ac ti va te re mo te ope ra ti on of the ans we ring ma chi ne and to lis ten new mes sa -
ges. The loud spea ker is swit ched on when cal ling the ans we ring ma chi ne, but the mi cro pho ne re mains off. By pres -
sing this key, you can al so pick up a call that is signalled to the allocated answering machine.
LED functions
The LED on the »Li ne AB« but ton in di ca tes the re spec ti ve sta tus:
LED off: No con nec ti on.
LED on: Con nec ti on to AB.
LED flas hes: AB has an ac ti ve con nec ti on to the cal ler.
LED fli ckers: In co ming call AB.
User on/off
Nor mal ly the first num ber en te red in the sys tem te le pho ne (MSN-1) is used as the de fault num ber for all set tings and
ope ra tions. You can set the de fault num ber of the sys tem te le pho ne with the user key. By pres sing this key, the de fault
num ber of the sys tem te le pho ne is mo di fied on the cor re spon ding call num ber. When in itia ting a call and when sen -
ding SMS or UUS1 text mes sa ges, the modified default number is used.
LED functions
The LED on the key in di ca tes the re spec ti ve sta tus:
LED off: De fault num ber.
LED on: Mo di fied num ber.
Bundle key elmeg hybird
If one or mo re ex ter nal con nec tions (ISDN, FXS or SIP pro vi der) are grou ped in to bund les, they can be as sig ned to a
bund le key. If this key is pres sed, hands free is swit ched on au to ma ti cal ly and a free ex ter nal con nec ti on is as sig ned in
the bund le in the or der of en try. You then he ar the ex ter nal di al ling to ne. If a call is ma de in this bund le (the LED on
the bund le key flas hes), this con nec ti on can not be trans fer red by pres sing the bund le key.
A bu sy sta tus is signalled as described under »Li ne key«.
