Open the battery lid by pulling the flange in
the direction of the arrow while holding the
circled area until you hear a click.
Caution
The dedicated rubber cap protects
the battery compartment from water
droplets and dust. Make sure that it is
attached when using the device.

Confirm that the power is off.

Prepare two AA batteries.
5. BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Remove the dedicated rubber cap on the
end of the grip of the torque wrench and
replace the batteries.

Insert the batteries from their negative sides
and then follow the above procedure in
reverse to close the battery lid.
⑥
Once the batteries have been installed,
attach the dedicated rubber cap again.
If you open the lid without holding
the circled area, the spring may
cause the batteries to shoot out.
Caution
Confirm that the battery lid is firmly
closed.
Remove the rubber cap from the back side of the torque wrench.
Attach the rubber cap from the
front side of the torque wrench.
Attach carefully from the top.
