6.5 Switch Adjustment
There are 11 sensors located around the machine. Below is
a list of these sensors, their location and function.
Adjust the sensor by sliding the switch through the clamp or
gland towards or away from the magnet to a maximum of
20mm.
Sensing distance is approximately 8mm radius around the
end of the switch.
Machine sensors have 2 parts . An inductive proximity
switch and a target (often a bolt head).
Adjust the sensor or the bolt to maintain a distance of 2 - 6
mm between the target and sensor (max range 8mm. LED
indicates sensor is activated and giving out a signal). It is
important that the target does not contact the sensor or
damage and/or malfunction will occur

6.6 Controller - Bale Counter
The machine is fitted with two bale counters that both count
the cycles of the pickup mechanism. One counter is reset
able and is normally used to count the bales for short
term management use. The second counter is
non-resetable and is intended to indicate the service life of
the machine
(Fig. 83).
Depress button ‘B’. The display will show both the counters.
Pressing and holding button ‘B’ again will reset the
appropriate counter. Depress button ‘C’ to return the display
to the main working position.
