At the front left, there is a lever to introduce air into the internal
combustion engine chamber to facilitate starting the engine
(START). During normal use, the lever should be in the "NORMAL"
position.
When the key is inserted and turned clockwise to the "M" position,
the auxiliary equipment is powered up. Set the accelerator to
minimum and open the choke, then turn the key to the "S" position
and release it as soon as the engine starts up.
When the engine has started up, set the choke lever to the
"NORMAL" position and the accelerator lever to maximum rpm. The
machine can now be set in movement by means of the lever
connected to the hydraulic drive. The further the lever is pushed
forward, the faster the forward movement of the machine. If the lever
is moved backwards, the machine goes into reverse.
Finally, the panel also includes a lever to raise (forwards) the central
brush during transfers and lower it (backwards) into the working
position.
7.7 Controls electric model
The operator controls the machine using the controls on the
handlebar and on his right next to the seat, the pedals and the
levers at the base of the handlebar.
7.7.1 Handlebar controls
The function of the manual brake with brake lock on the left
handlebar is the same as in the internal combustion engine model.
The right handlebar grip is the accelerator. Turning the grip in the
direction of the arrow sets the machine in movement, the greater the
rotation, the faster the speed.
The handle bar incorporates the key switch, the central horn button
and the forwards/backwards movement selector on the left. Insert
the key in the key switch and turn through 90% clockwise to connect
the battery with the various electric motors and prepare for work.
The forwards/backwards selector is moved forwards to move the
machine forwards and backwards to move it in reverse at low speed.
