approx. 2–3 cm above the elbow. Adjust the device so that the “ARTERY ” mark
is directly over the artery.

ing mechanism.

Cuff position control
The device has a cuff position control function. Using this feature, the device automatically checks the
correct positioning of the cuff on your upper arm during measurement. If the cuff is correctly positioned, the
symbol
will appear on the display during inflation. It will remain there until the measurement has been suc
-
cessfully completed and will then be displayed together with the determined measured values.
In the event that the cuff has been positioned incorrectly, the measurement is cancelled and an error mes
-
sage appears in the display. In this case, please observe the information in the section “What if there are
problems?”.
