Flex Keys
Flex Keys is a Thinklogical Tool that installs onto a Windows Computer. Flex Keys gives the
administrator the ability to create unique Hot Keys to enable actions that are not in Thinklogical’s Hot
Key Code Defaults. The new hotkeys and codes are programmed into the Receiver where they are
trapped and sent through the system to the SMP2-D/R.
Note: Care should be taken when choosing key combinations and codes. Since the keys
are trapped by the system, they will not reach a Source PC. Therefore, choose key
combinations that do not have other functions.
Note: Some codes are reserved if certain other system features are enabled. For
example: Codes 62, 6c, 72 and 74 are used by Intuitive Mouse and codes 6b and 6d are
used by Collaboration. Therefore these codes should be avoided if these features are being
used.
Create Unique Flex Key Actions
1. Connect a Source to the HOST or UPDATE port located on a Thinklogical Q-Series, T-Series or
TLX Receiver or Chassis. Any changes will be saved to that Receiver.
Note: Use a USB 2.0 port only. DO NOT use a USB 3.0 port.
