Appendix A:
Loading deskapp.exe onto a Windows Computer
Once a system has been set up by the administrator, users can go to any of the
Desks in a Room where they have access. Once logged into the local PC at a Desk,
the user can double-click on the desktop icon
deskapp.exe
To load deskapp.exe onto a Windows Computer:
1. Copy the tl-desk.zip file onto your Windows Computer.
2. Create the directory \ProgramData\TL\deskapp if it does not exist.
3. Extract the files from tl-desk.zip into \ProgramData\Tl\deskapp\
4. Right click on deskapp.exe and create a shortcut for it on the desktop.
5. NOTE: The \ProgramData\TL\deskapp\config.csv file needs to be edited by the administrator
to configure the Desk and server information prior to using it.
6. Open deskapp. It should open showing the two monitors and the Pool(s) allocated to that Desk.
