5.5 Audio Processing panel
The Audio Processing panel provides input selection, full audio processing and delay parameters for the 16 channels
that will be either embedded in the SDI or de-embedded and available on the discrete AES and the MADI outputs.
5.5.1 Status tab in embedder mode
In embedder mode, the Status tab shows the current audio type
present at each of the discrete AES and MADI inputs.
Each audio type is color coded as follows.
PCM
– the audio channel carries PCM audio (orange)
Non-PCM
– the audio channel carries non-PCM (yellow).
Dolby-E
– the audio channel carries Dolby-E encoded
audio (blue)
Dolby-D
– the audio channel carries Dolby Digital encoded
audio (pink)
DD+
– the audio channel carries Dolby Digital Plus
encoded audio (violet)
AAC
– the audio channel carries Advanced Audio Coding
encoded audio (turquoise)
HE-AAC
– the audio channel carries High-Efficiency
Advanced Audio Coding encoded audio (beige)
5.5.2 Status tab in de-embedder mode
In de-embedder mode, the Status tab shows the current AES
audio type being de-embedded. Each audio type is represented
by a specific color listed above.
MADI Channels
is unavailable.
