Installation
Air Panel & Air Cushion Installation
There are two air valves on the TopWinder® Air Panel, both are fed by the same air source. The
retract is regulated on the Air Panel and the Air Cushion is regulated by the regulator mounted on the
passenger side Leg Assembly.
1) Locate the Air Panel and secure it to the wall.
2) Run a
3/8” poly-flow airline from the Air Cushion Valve on the Air Panel to the Air Cushion
Regulator mounted on the passenger side Leg Assembly.
3) Run
a 3/8” poly-flow airline from the Air Cushion Regulator to one side of the Shuttle Valve on
the Cylinder.
4) Run a
3/8” poly-flow airline from the other side of the Shuttle Valve on the Cylinder to the
Retract Regulator on the Air Panel.

Note:
Some customers may want to retract top wheel if overload is tripped. Belanger custom control
panels can be ordered with auto retract when top wheel default position is up. This usually requires
routing output circuit to panel housing the motor starter and overload. Belanger custom panels
ordered with retract circuit will have normally open contact terminals installed with notation
ending in RA and RB.
Note:
The Air Panel will need to be mounted to the wall, preferable in the equipment room.
