Installation

Auto Retract

Overview

The Auto Retract includes a set of Photo-Eyes that mount on each of the Leg Assemblies of the
TopWinder® to detect the presence of a pickup truck.

Note:

The Auto Retract MUST be mounted to the outside of the Leg Assemblies with the Photo-Eyes

on the entrance side of the TopWinder® as shown below.

The Photo-Eyes are recommended to be installed at the height shown below.

Note:

When installing the Auto Retract, take care not to scratch the powder coating on the frame.

After mounting and wiring the Photo-Eyes to the Leg Assemblies you will need to cut the Filler
Strips to fit around the Photo-Eyes.
