Error Codes
Overview
This section will cover the “ERROR CODE” for each module. If a module ceases to function, an error
code will be displayed on the bottom line of the BaiStation’s™ LCD screen.
The prefix for error codes is typically “
ER4B
” followed by a two digit identification number representing
the module in question. The first of the two digit numbers represent module type, i.e. Input, Output etc.
The second number represents module position i.e. Output 1, Output 2 etc. The numbering convention
uses hexadecimal format. This simply means 01 to 09 and after 09 is 0A, 0B, 0C etc. The BAIS-T™
program is capable of using the alpha system up to letter “F”.
The Gateway Module (Carwash Controller) has a slightly different error code. The Gateway Module is
the only means of communication between the Machine Control Module (MCM) and the Input Device
(BaiStation™). It’ error code is displayed below.
The Optional Interface Protocol Module will not display an error coded. It is diagnosed from a hand help
pendant.
