Printer Set-up (Screen 7)
You will encounter 10 screens in this area. Here, you tell the system who you are, your location, the date and
the time. You will establish receipt printing, setup customer accounts, designate discount coupons, insert
messages on your receipt i.e. “Thank You, Have a Nice Day”, etc. You will also prepare your printer to run
desired reports.
Before you can run the printer, your system has to be able to identify itself. This section begins by walking
you through the steps necessary for that.
From the 10 screens described earlier in this document, use the “ARROW” keys to select the “#7” screen. This
is the “Printer Set-Up” screen (shown below).
Press the <ENTER> key. The following screen will appear:
There are 10 screens in this area. The first 4 screens are to input your location. After entering the name of your
carwash, press <ENTER>. This will prompt you to enter your address and so on. Follow the screen prompts until all
location information has been entered. Remember, there are only 20 characters across the screen.
The images below are an example of how to fill in the “location” information. Notice the “Step Numbers”
advance as you progress through.
Print the default receipt and use it as a template.
Make sure you SAVE after each option has been programmed. Review you programming frequently.
