On windrower rake model DRP-308, install the pull type tongue on the main frame using
the supplied M14x100 bolts and M14 elastic stop nuts. Screw the threaded buckle into
the threaded swivel and turn until stand is perpendicular to the ground.
Install support stands (one on DRP-308, two on DR0-308) and secure them with lock
pins
(see fig. 4) .
Install left and right safety guards. Secure guards in the front using the provided elastic
stop nuts and in the back by inserting cotter pins through the holes in the stub tubes.
Slide rake arm into left safety guard and secure it with the lynch pin.
Raise left and right safety guards to their upright position until they lock on the guard
retainer.
Install the tine arm bushing on the gearbox using the supplied roll pins.
Install the eight tine arms into the tine arm bushings on the gearbox and secure them
with lynch pins
(see fig. 4) .
3.04 - Pre-Operational Check
IMPORTANT: Check each of the following, carefully, prior to engaging the equipment:
1. All grease fittings have been greased.
2. The oil in the gearbox.
3. The driveline cross and bearings have been greased.
4. No wrappings or foreign objects are around the tines or gearbox.
5. The tines are properly installed, the tine bolts properly torqued

6. All hardware is tight.
7. The tractor, to ensure correct direction of PTO and rpm speed.
8. All safety shields and guards are in place and tightly attached.
9. No people or animals are in the work area.
