Installing the Rotor

Rotor Lid Configurations

The rotor has two available lid configurations.

 •

The dual-locking lid (B19947) allows the lid to be attached to and removed from the rotor 
outside the centrifuge, so that tubes can be loaded and unloaded under a safety hood. The dual-
locking lid consists of a daisy knob that attaches the lid to the rotor body, and a tie-down knob 
that attaches the rotor to the centrifuge drive hub.
