18.7 Over and Under Infusion Protection
The following means are provided to protect against over and under infusions:

Warnings displayed on the Safety Screen to remind the operator to check the programmed injection parameters
prior to the injector being armed.

An on-screen indication of insufficient volume is provided whenever the total volume programmed to be delivered
is greater than the amount of fluid in the syringe.
Q
Injection monitoring is performed in the injector head to detect over rate or over volume conditions due to system
faults. The delivered volume is also monitored against the total programmed volume for the injection.
